In a strange world where all the people are like mythical creatures and rare beasts, a mysterious robot travels the world.
This one is my current project! For all the ups and downs life give me, right now the most motivating one for me to see it all through.
I have so, so much I want to bring and show people when it's ready!
Below, I will give as much info as I currently have given out publicly on this project! Another day, when it has finally begun, this will likely be moved to another page so the actual material can be up front.
This is MK-Miki!
For Art Fight (2026), I took it upon myself to make a reference sheet for Miki. But this post is technically her formal unveiling!
At present, she's also the most reoccuringly drawn character of mine to get images actually uploaded online. She was first made (in real life) for me to practice coloring, but now she's the lead of a whole story!
Please look forward to more info on her.
[I intend to put links to other pictures of her here soon]
This is Purity.
Like Miki, I took her to Art Fight with a new ref sheet. This one was made mostly for me and the few friends familiar with her however, as a lot of times drawing Purity, I've found myself forgetting details or unable to explain some of them.
Purity was made as part of the Daily Monster Girls that I drew (April 3rd), trying to make better character designs.
To be blunt, she was by far and away my favorite design and concept of the bunch, and I think this is reflected in that day's image quality despite the 24-hour limit.
Due to the terms I started the dailies, Purity was not made with a specific role in mind; that day I was entirely focused on the perceived irony and intrigue of her imagery. I have since gone through many different ideas for her, and now I'm quite certain she'll be a major player in this work...
[I also intend to put links to other pictures of Purity here soon]
Initially, Ridge was intended from the start as a character to face off against MK-Miki in some way.
I rejected her pretty quick, because my standards for my work are very, very high.
Ironically, I came back around on her some time after that rejection made me do the daily drawings I mentioned earlier. (She's technically the first daily!)
There are some similarities and parallels between Ridge and Purity's designs, that I don't think would have occurred if I knew I'd be keeping both. (Some of which are only apparent to me.) Alas, I did. Rest assured though, I have since differated them quite a bit in personality and story role...
Also, the very super orange one was drawn by my friend, Pumpkinium. Everyone say hi to Pumpky for me!! (Tumblr | Bluesky)
That's it for material I've unveiled! I want to show so, so much more, but I have decided to stick more to this advice as much as I can to not share much more.
But, I still have to advertise and prove I'm not doing nothing... Hm... General images of Miki and Purity with no bearing on anything will likely persist, though!
Though, to address some things, you may have noticed one or both of two things so far:
1.) The cast so far, is all female.
&
2.) ⅔rds of the characters above are from the Daily Monster Girl designs.
So, the more observant predictors in the room would likely garner that more or a good number of designs are going to be from that same event*, and then the cast is also going to be all or mostly girls.
*(Incidentally, as it turns out, drawing 21 themed pictures in immediate succession puts a huge glowing stamp on your portfolio whenever you do something.)
...Well, I won't answer if more daily designs will show up, but I do have a fairly even amount of boys planned for this project! The high bar I mentioned earlier strikes continuously however, so don't expect to see them before everything's lined up.
